Introduction to Digital Photography
This is a 2-hour hands-on introductory digital photography lesson for beginning users of digital cameras who want to better understand how to operate their camera and take better photographs. Over the course of 2 hours, you will learn about the basics of exposure, lighting, composition, and the features of your digital camera in order to increase your ability to take photographs and help you to avoid common mistakes. Students will learn what aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance are and how to adjust those settings in order to improve the quality of their photographs.
All lessons are hands on and will be tailored to the interests and expressed needs of the participants.
This lesson is normally taught on an individual basis, but arrangements can be made to teach it to small groups of 5 or less. Please contact me for more information.
